shipping up to Boston

Okay well I am already shipped up to Boston, but my husband is coming here next month, and I couldn't be more excited!!

Over Christmas we found out he has been assigned to the USS Pasadena (SSN-752) which is currently in Kittery, Maine for modernization.  Since Kittery is only about an hour from Boston, he will move into my little apartment and commute from here.  Sadly, this means we have to live without our puppy for the time being, since my apartment doesn't allow dogs.  We are very thankful that Roxy's grandparents are available to babysit for a few months.  It's not the perfect situation, but at least we get to live together again!

Roxy is going to visit Auntie Noel

After the Pasadena is all bedazzled she heads for her new home port-- San Diego!!  After experiencing wind chills of around -20F in upstate NY last week, we are looking forward to some California sunshine!  We are also looking forward to living near some good friends whom we have gone too long without seeing.  My husband's old USNA roommate will be stationed there with his soon-to-be wife.  AND my best friend from high school is stationed there with her husband.
