study break

June is almost over, and I couldn't let a whole month go without any blog posts!  June wasn't very exciting as most of it was spent studying for the MCAT.  Now that it's over with I have time for things like blogging!  I did manage to squeeze a little bit of fun in between studying though.  My friend Becky has been very hospitable sharing her home and dogs for some study breaks.  Her husband is gone for some training now, and is getting deployed as soon as my husband gets back.  The two guys have been best friends since they went to high school in California, and both happened to end up in Boston.  Sadly they are never here at the same time!  At least their wives get to hang out and become good friends!

My mom celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this month, and I flew home for a surprise visit.  We went to a family favorite restaurant- Roy's Hawaiian Fusion in Baltimore.  They have some of the best seafood I have ever had, but perhaps more importantly, delicious chocolate lava cake:)

I also got to visit with Roxy while I was home, which is always a good thing.  Soon she will be back in Boston!  For now she is very happy with all the sticks and mud in her grandparents' backyard:)
